CAMSHAFT BREAK-IN / TEST RUN
Camshaft break-in involves a two step process where the inner valve springs are omitted for lesser valve spring pressure. Upon conclusion of the initial process, the inner springs are installed and the camshaft undergoes part two. Compression testing is also performed as is leak checking. This operation is well worth the cost from the piece of mind knowing, if the engine does will not start, you know it is an external fuel or spark delivery problem.
